Nestled in the heart of Ohio, we are first generation homesteaders learning how to produce and not just consume. From the garden, to the chickens and guineas, to the goats, we are learning and growing in this labor of love.
Labor of Love
Learning animal husbandry for our homesteading application sounds so sophisticated. We want the happiest and healthiest animals possible, and we are constantly learning and growing. We want to steward these animals with love and honor their existence.
Our animals are interacted with daily, and we have a very hands on approach with our care. We love them dearly and hope others will too!
The Vision
The idea was chickens, a big garden and two goats. We all know chicken math, but goatuplication happens too. As of 2026 we have 8 does and 4 bucks that call this home. Oh, and 5 pups and 3 kitties.
The goal is to produce and not just consume. Its interesting what happens when you make your own butter! The value skyrockets because you know the input required. We’re striving for connection. Connection to the food we eat, (even if someone else is producing it), and connection to nature.
